The Seven Spirits Of God
The amplified bible refers to the term ‘the seven spirits of God’ as the seven-fold Spirit of God. Seven-fold could be used to describe something that has seven parts, or 7 members, or 7 components. In this context we could refer to the seven spirits of God as the seven manifestations of the same Holy Spirit!
So seven spirits don’t mean that God has seven Holy Spirits but rather they are seven manifestations of the same Holy Spirit!
The Lord Jesus was the first human to ever have the full manifestation of of the Holy Spirit as the scriptures declare in John 3:34 KJV “For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.” However, all through scripture before Christ, God would give the Holy Spirit in a measure to various people to enable them do a specific work for Him.
