The Number One Way To Improve the Value Of Your Time

"Time is the scarcest resource," "and unless it is managed, nothing else can be managed." Peter Drucker.

We live in a fast paced24 hour city that never sleeps with the constant stress of wanting to do it all. It is therefore important to have good effective time management that prioritises your time. Jesus said that while it is daytime, we must do the work of Him, who sent Me. Night is coming when no one can work. John 9:4

Every one of your step needs to be calculated because taking the wrong path limits the amount of time you have to get things done. Time is scarce so focus on one achievement at a time. The more you can concentrate time, effort, and resources on a particular task, the greater the number and diversity of tasks you can actually perform.

The one way to improve the value of your time is by investing your time. Investment takes several forms including:

Investing in research and learning.

There are online courses  and online university platforms that teach actual university courses from professors and industry experts. Investing in relationships and networking

There are free groups you can join to build your network among peers in your professional field.  A good networking tool is meetup. Meetup is an online social networking portal that facilitates group meetings in various localities around the world. Meetup allows members to find and join groups unified by a common interest, such as politics, books, games, movies, health e.t.c Talking to more knowledgeable people (Experts) in your profession and networking adds value to your time. It may cost you a cost you a cup of coffee but worth every penny.

“Everything requires time. It is the only truly universal condition. All work takes place in time and uses up time. Yet most people take for granted this unique, irreplaceable, and necessary resource. Nothing else, perhaps, distinguishes effective executives as much as their tender loving care of time.” – Peter F. Drucker

So treat your time with tender loving care because time is the one resource that is beyond the ability of man to replace. Only God can restore time that's why it is written " I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten" Joel 2:25

Only God can restore time so use yours wisely.
