Dedicate The Year To Him

King Solomon and all... Isreal.... sacrificing sheep and oxen, so many that they could not be reported or counted. Then Solomon stood.... before the Lord's burnt offering altar... and spread forth his hands toward heaven, and he said, O Lord, the God of Isreal, there is no God like You in heaven above or on earth beneath, keeping covenant and showing mercy and loving kindness to Your servants who walk before You with all their heart. 1 KINGS 8:5,22-23(AMP)

With deep gratitude to God for the grace to become the king of Isreal and for the grace to build God's magnificent temple and his own palace, Solomon offered a very lavish and extravagant sacrifice to praise and worship God and to dedicate the temple to God.

Today I want you to join me to worship and thank God like never before as we dedicate this new year unto God.From age to age,our God has been faithful to us and in this new year that we just entered, He will surely remain faithful to us because He cannot change or deny Himself, 2 Tim 2:13. His love for us is beyond our wildest imagination. It is not because we deserve His Faithfulness, but because He has chosen to show us His Faithfulness that we are alive and here today.

It is not because of who we are,or because of anything we have or have done; it is all because He loves us and all because of Jesus. Hebrew 13:15 says,by him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. One of my favourite songs by gospel singer Travis Greene is " You made a way." Part of the chorus says, You made a way, when our backs were against the wall and it looked as if it was over, You made a way, and we are standing here, Only because You made a way. As we pray and dedicate this year unto God, I see God making more and more ways for us. He will keep us and we will remain standing, growing stronger and and going higher.

PRAYER FOCUS: Worship and exalt God's name for this wonderful year He has brought you into.Pray and dedicate this year to God so that He will lead and direct your path.
